The older the get, the more alike they look. Eye color is emerging, and they are the same. Ears, nose, eyes, all the same. Very different personalities and hair amount and head shapes, but as they get older they grow closer. Sooo... I would like to convince my hubby to get the test (not even sure how to go about that) but he doesn't want to spend the cash. Are there health benefits to knowing? I'm sure that would convince him.

i wanted to know mostly so i could answer people when they asked!
but it's handy for allergies and medication reactions, too.
linus had a reaction to amoxciliin when he was a baby, so we stopped giving it to the other two. and when one developed asthma, we were able to be more proactive with the other two.

i would want to know- for possible health reasons, like what Pam listed... and also, if they were spontaneous- i'd want to be able to let my kids know so they would know if their chances of having twins was increased or not.... and just to know!
just b/c your DH doesn't care doesn't mean you can't do it ... compromise is how marriage works. I'm sure there is some stupid sh!t he wants to spend money on now and then... so make it happen.

For us, we knew they were fraternal since we did ART, but it was confirmed in the hospital when we found out they had 2 different blood types!
