Need to vent a little

ok so here it is....This may be TMI and I am sorry for that but ok.... I have not been in the mood for sex lately AT ALL. Hubby and I average 4times a week right now. This pregnancy I have been put on bedrest twice and I am only 14weeks along. I woke up this morning and I was feeling sick. Yesterday I had a swollen ankle and woke up and it was still killing me. Anyways this afternoon the hubby wanted to have sex and I turned him down. He then tells me he is board. How do you respond to that. I am speechless. How dare he. I am pregnant and he tells me he is board and he hates that we don't have sex everyday. I'm sorry I'M PREGNANT. err anyways any advice on how to handle this? TIA

Tell him to handle his own issues on his own.  Seems a little selfish of him....

Dude... you're averaging sex 4 times a week?! That makes you some kinda god in my book. And you're doing that when you don't feel like having sex at all? And he's complaining of being bored? What else does he want from you- to lie down, close your eyes, and pretend to enjoy it so he can get off? sounds like a dovche.

I bought DH a sex toy to use together or he can use on himself because I think we've had sex 4 times since finding out we were pregnant!

Wow, he should consider himself very lucky. In my book 4 times a WEEK is a lot for even not pregnant women! I think we've done it about 4 times total since BFP. I'm sorry, your husband isn't a dog. He can keep it safely in his pants for one day when you're not in the mood, and I bet  that he would even somehow survive if he had to go a whole (GASP!) week.

I'm horrified at how insensitive he is being. 4 times a week is amazing for a pregnant woman. Tell him to go jerk off and stop being such a selfish ass.

Sneak some laxatives into one of his drinks and see how he likes feeling sick and crappy.  I kid!  Instead, just wait until he gets sick someday and tell him you need him to scrub the floor.  I have no patience for selfish men like that, ugh!

Tell him that most husbands of pregnant wives in families with 2 kids are THRILLED to get sex once a week and more like to get it a few times a month. If he's bored, he can take your little girls to the park or a tea party or the library or make some dinner while you rest.

Ummm...OMG!  Still 4x's a week!  We finally just had sex the other day after over a month! I haven't been in the mood in a loooong time!  He should be so friggin lucky! Tell him to find a damn hobby! He's bored, are you kidding me?

Maybe you should have your doc explain to him more about pregnancy, especially since you've been on bedrest twice already. My doc forbid sex until late in the 2nd trimester for me with DS since I had issues in the 1st tri. This time, I've been fortunate not to have any issues, but my sex drive is also shot. DH wants sex like every other day, but most weeks, he gets it maybe twice since I'm SOOOOO tired. Good luck!

Ditto. The first tri-mester I toughed it out. Second trimester, sex-drive was normal. Third tri-mester, I hate it. HATE it. I don't want to be touched. And sex isn't even a good time.

Kick him in the shins and tell him to grow up.
