Swim diapers?

I'm starting a swim class with my DS next week and I'm not sure what type of swim diaper I should get.  We CD full time and I don't want to use the disposables.  I've heard that swim diapers only are used to keep the mess in so do I need to buy a special one or will something I already have in my stash work?  Thanks!

Do you have an extra cover?  I used a BWW with my DD from about 6mo to 2.5 when she PT.  Some people use an empty pocket, but I've heard that they can hold some water in them.

If you use one for swimming just remember not to put it back into your regular stash.  The chlorine can damage it for normal CD use.

I thought the chlorine might do that.  I don't think I want to mess with any of my stash.  I guess I'm on the hunt for a swim diaper!

We use Bummis swim diapers and really like them. I ordered ours from Amazon for $12 each. Worth it IMO. They aren't PUL, but rather a cotten exterior with the same mesh that lines mens swim trunks as the interior.

No, sorry. I haven't started CDing yet...not until June! I think I first saw the Charlie Bananas recommended here though so hopefully whoever used them will post on this thread.
