preemie clothes

I normally post on the 3-6 month board but I have a question about preemie clothes. I would like to be a blessing to a young mother at my church and by her LO some clothes and pampers for her. Her DD is 1 month and weighs 6lbs. So I brought her a pack of preemie pampers (because she told me newborn are to big ), enfacare formula and two preemie outfits but I want to get her some more clothes not just pajamas. Do you know were I can get preemie size clothes from? TIA

Babies R Us usually has a good selection. My SIL found some at Walmart but my local Walmart did not carry them.

thanks for all the replies. I was in babies r us last night and only could find pajamas in preemie size. I will try target tomorrow thanks.

I think it is great what you are doing!  One note...a lot of preemie clothes only go up to 6lbs and even then it may depend on how long her little one is.  Newborn clothes are definately still big on my LO but preemie are too small due to the length. 

 You might try a department store for clothes too...we found some good stuff there and they had good sales too!

If you want an "outfit" and don't mind paying a little - Janie and Jack has absolutely precious preemie things!  L lived in sleepers and creepers, so BRU and Walmart had waht we needed.

Target has some cute outfits, Walmart has a lot of sleepers and Carter's has some in their outlet stores.  We used Gerber and they shrunk so much they fit when she was still in the NICU! Good luck!
