Re: pw-lower back pain

  • I was MISERABLE weeks 4-7.

I did not get morning sickness.. other than the occasional baby saying, "I don't like when you eat that!" ie: banana, yogurt, cheetos.

But I was bloated, had horrible back pain to where I could not sit in the car for more than 10-15 min at a time, and my neck/shoulders were really tense.

My doctor said it was normal.

  • I felt like AF was going to show until I started puking around 8 weeks. So yes my back hurt and I felt crampy & crapy.  :/

  • Yep, I remember that.  I think it was the worse around weeks 5-8.  Hang in there!

  • Oh yeah, it was really bad until this past weekend. It felt like I pulled something in my lower back or something. If you're really concerned, it's okay to call your doctor. Try to relax and not worry!

    This.

I also get weekly prenatal therapeutic massages every week since week 12 (I don't know what I'd do w/o them).  It only gets worse every week for me though.  :(  Also starting around 18 weeks I started getting crazy Sciatic Nerve pain that would radiate down from my hip/tailbone to my feet and sometimes up my back.  But stretching out those muscles everyday helps me A LOT.  I also sit on a Boppy Breastfeeding pillow to help with my lowerback and tailbone pain.  Try getting massages and do prenatal yoga.  Hope this helps a little.

  • Yep I remember that! TMI but are you constipated? If you are it can cause horrible back pain :(
