I know it's possible that you can be dilated and stuck at a certain cm for awhile, but I'm so happy that my body is doing something at this point! I've been having contractions almost every night this last week, and so much pressure when I stand that it hurts to walk. Turns out I'm 3cm and she said she could feel his head, I know it could still be awhile, but the fact that my body is doing some work on it's own already is a huge step towards my attempted VBAC
And my platelets are still in the safe range for an epidural, so lets hope they stay there so I don't have to attempt going natural!

Hooray for progress! I'm excited for you. The body is a wondrous thing, for sure. Oh, and don't let the possibility of going natural change your mind at all. I'm not saying it was fun (in any way), but it's certainly doable (even if you aren't mentally prepared to do so, going in to L&D).

Yay for making progress! And just like TTT said, natural hurts, but it is definitely doable, especially with good nurses.
I'm definitely nervous about the possibilty of going natural, but I'm hoping they stay up so if I end up with a c-section I won't have to be put under general anesthesia...I do not want to miss him being born! So let's just hope they stay up so we won't have to worry about any of it!
