Burt's Bees and bumGenius

What is your experience using Burt's Bees diaper rash cream with bumGenius pocket diapers? bumGenius instructs not to use diaper rash creams with their diapers but I know 2 people that successfully do (without a liner as I understand). I am trying to gather opinions and I am new to cloth diapering. Thanks.

    Burt's Bees is not CD safe, unfortunately.  If you use it without a liner, it will cause buildup on your diapers over time and then your diapers will start repelling and will need to be stripped.  We love CJ's BUTTer personally.  It's all natural and comes in amazing scents and different application options.  If you wanted a CD safe cream that you can pick up in a local store, California Baby is CD safe to use without a liner.  GL!
