Hey!  I saw your response in my monitor post...  There were a couple different recalls for the Summer Infant Monitors.  One for for the slim one (which I think came out more recently?) because i think it would get too hot.  But the other was for the original Day/Night Handheld color Monitor.  Jill posted the recall info, but in case you didn't see it, here's the info:

Thanks. I did see the post on it. 

It is the one we have but I have it hooked to the wall, and resting on a shelf completley out of his reach.  Thank you for making sure I saw it.

I used to use zip ties to make sure it was tucked away and such.  It seems odd people left the cord dangling over their kids.  Maybe they should recall the parents, not the product.  LOL.
