My head is spinning

We have our meeting with the RE today to discuss our past IVF try and what the next step is. I'm kind of nervous about that but besides eating a cupcake when I got home, I'm handling that ok. But because life is never just one problem at a time the other thing happening is DH went for a physical this summer and they found his white cell count was low (3.5 and anything under 4 is low) so they just wanted to recheck it in 6 months so he went last week and now they are even lower at 2.4. I picked up his results yesterday and you know how labcorps has high or low next to things, well his 2.4 has "Alert" next to it! The primary care doctor said he may just run low and stress made it lower but he should get it rechecked in 7 days. However, I had shown his blood work to my hematologist back in the summer time and she said it's ok but if it goes any lower have him come in for more tests. Well, I decided yesterday to get everything ready for him to go see the hematologist, great got it done. I call him at work and tell him all he has to do is call and set up the appointment when he is free. His response is "I don't have time for that right now. It's not that important to me." Grrr... I then call and set up the appointment for him. He is way more important to me than any job and he doesn't have nearly enough life insurance, he is worth way more to me alive than dead!

I just needed to vent. I know we've all been there. Thanks for listening.

Good luck with your meeting! I hope everything works out with your DH... mine is the same way with appointments.

Yikes! That is a lot for one day. Why are men so blase about their health? I hope it's an easy fix for your husband and you hear good things from your RE.

I'm sorry about your DH's results.  I hope you can get him to go to the doc!  My DH is the same way.

Men are stubborn buttheads. My DH waited until he was stuck in A-fib and needed to go to the ER when he was having some weird heart feelings in his chest. Even then it took them 2 days of meds and shocking him back to normal rythm to convince him something was wrong. MORONS!!

Someone needs to smack them all into next week!!!  You are a good wifey for setting up the appt. despite what he says
