anyone get watery eyes with a cold?

It's driving me crazy.  I've always been like this.  The cold I have now is particularly bad.  I'm so sensitive to light I just want to sit in a dark room with my eyes closed.  Any luck dealing with it or finding a medicine that helps?

    my older daughter gets like that.  Thats my first sign she's getting sick with a cold...watery eyes.  Nothing really helps though at least not for her.

    Benadryl usually helps me some.
