I saw that Cottonbabies has end of life diapers for $24 (for 12), plus 12 refresher kits would only be $36. The dipes are stained/need repairs of hook and loop/or elastic issues.
I'm not super handy with a sewing machine, but I'm learning quick and have made a few not so hot dipes, good mama pads, cloth wipes, and unpaper towels.
Has anyone used the refresher kits and would be able to explain if its easy enough to do? The hook and loop repairs shouldn't be hard - unstitch and restitch in the new. BUT - I don't know about the elastic repairs. As for stains - I've got plenty of time to work on them.
What do you think - worth it?

Here is a tutorial/instructions on how to make the repairs

It it pretty simple but the first diaper might take some figuring out, after that you'll get it and probably blow through them. That is a good deal to start out with!
