1st Trimester

Little Worried..=(

I went to the doctors on the 2nd, and the baby was bouncy and moving all over the place, but i don't feel anything, it freaks me out, and makes me worry, i wonder all the time if everythings okay, and not knowing hurts me way to much. I don't go back to the doctors til the 15th, When do you actually start feeling the baby move, and if you haven't how do you keep your focus on not worrying.

Re: Little Worried..=(

  • How far along are you? They say you won't feel consistent movement until 24 weeks.  Some people will feel flutters around 18 weeks or so but that's still super early and verrrry inconsistent.

  • You won't even feel flutters until week 15 or 16. Most people don actually feel movement until week 18.

People who are having baby number 2 sometimes feel it earlier.

  • Only 3 months and 4 days.
  • There is really no way that you would be feeling the baby. I wouldn't worry.

At 12ish weeks it is pretty much impossible that you were actually feeling the baby.  It was probably gas.  So, don't worry.  You'll start to feel the baby for real in another month or so, I think I was around 17w when I felt DS for the first time.

  • Your baby is so tiny right now, it's not surprising you don't feel anything.  It'd be like a small bug crawling on your shirt sleeve - not enough pressure to cause you to notice.
