"The two halves of your pelvis are connected at the front by a stiff joint called the symphysis pubis. This joint is strengthened by a dense network of tough, flexible tissues, called ligaments. To help your baby pass through your pelvis as easily as possible, your body produces a hormone called relaxin, which softens the ligaments. As a result, these joints move more during and just after pregnancy, causing inflammation and pain, known as symphysis pubis dysfunction or SPD. "
Symptoms:
- Back pain, pelvic girdle pain, hip pain

I think she is talking about Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (correct me if I am wrong ). My pubic bone hurt for about a week of two I would say around 7 and 8 weeks. My doctor said that is just ligaments stretching and everything getting adjusted for the baby. He said it was completely normal and not to worry.
I googled "pregnancy + SPD" and the top results came back with Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. "Your body produces a hormone known as relaxin during pregnancy. Relaxin softens the ligaments in your pelvis to enable your baby to pass through your pelvis. Normally, the two halves of your pelvis do not move very easily because the symphysis pubis is strengthened by ligaments. If one side of your pelvis moves more than the other side, you can experience pain and inflammation."
I've had a lot of stretching, cramping, and aching, but nothing this severe to date. It's excruciating when I wake up at night to roll over or go to the restroom or when I have to walk up the stairs. It is my entire pubic region and it feels like pressure is pushing down on my bones. It hurts when I walk at times and it can last more than 10 minutes or so depending on the activity. DH looks at me funny at night when I look like I want to cry and I'm hunched over because it hurts worse to stand up straight.

I have an appointment in a little over a week and tylenol hasn't helped me with anything (colds, pain , headaches, etc.) so I'm hesitant to take more medicines... I know that sounds really bad, but I'm wondering if I should take more precautions while at work and wear a pelvic support belt or my doctor will okay me and say it's nothing (even though it doesn't feel like nothing)
