Pre Seed

Hi, I am from TTGP board and after 11 unsuccessful cycles I was thinking of ordering pre seed. My RE suggested using canola oil which we did last cycle but it didn't seem to work. Before I go out and oder it I was wondering if any of you successful ladies used preseed when you got your BFP? Any other advice? I am hoping to be seeing you all on this board very soon! Thanks in advance!

I used Pre-Seed the month I got my BFP, but I also used it for the 4 cycles prior to that without getting a BFP. You could try to increase your fertile CM by drinking green tea and/or taking evening primerose oil supplements (I found that both helped me). Good luck!

I used Pre Seed once when ttc... it's messy stuff. DH hated it. So, if you do get it, don't use a lot.

You should also know that it is NOT intended to get you pg....its just a sperm friendly lube. However, I did get pg on the cycle that we used it. Good luck.

I used preseed this time and last time. I also used firtilaid, its a prenatal and supplment, both times I used it I got BFP the first cycle I used them. My last one ended in M/C at 8 w, and Im not almost 4w. Hoping for better luck this time!

Yep I used it for a couple cycles before bfp for all 3 of my pregancies.

We used preseed when we conceived LO#1, although we only tried once. Same for this pg. So I can't tell you if it was the preseed that helped.

We tried it for one cycle and it was HORRIBLE! Made DH numb. He hated it. Definitely wouldnt try it again. We tried mucinex the next month to thin out mucus and got a bfp that month. I have spoken to a few people that had the same problem with preseed. Good luck!

we used preseed for one month - nothing

we didnt use anything on the BFP cycle

but it made me happy to know I was trying something. Same with the OPK tests.

We TTC for 7 cycles. On cycle 6 I tried PreSeed and I got a BFN. Cycle 7 I used PreSeed with an Instead cup and we got a BFP.

Yes, I never got great EWCM (maybe one day and it was very scant) and got pg using preseed. I used it for 4 cycles, but only 1 with great timing (the one where we got our BFP). Good luck.

I charted and only used preseed during the ovulation time frame. Not only did my DH love (LOVE) it, but we got a BFP on the first try!

The second cycle that we used it is when I got pregnant. I don't know if it was a contributing factor or not. It does help make "on demand" sex a little more enjoyable though.

we used pre seed...we got pregnant after 6 weeks of trying. BTW, you can buy it at CVS now too!

Pre Seed is expensive. We used a silcone based lubricant that did not contain propel glycol.

We did with BFP one! We didn't use it with BFP 2.

Do it! The cycle we conceived I know it was b/c of preseed b/c that month I had no EWCM of my own. It is the only lube that is safe/ helpful to use while TTC.
