I keep wanting to say Marcheline instead (which I assume is the French varient of this name). It's softer and rolls off the tongue more easily, IMO.

I think it's sweet, but less nice when not pronounced the French way. The English way, it reminds me of margerine.

I actually really like it. Feminine, classic, easy to spell/pronounce. Bonus points that you can get the uber-cute nn Marcy out of it too!
