Did you register the 2nd time around?

We got a lot of gender neutral stuff with Em because we decided not to find out what we were having. We obviously don't need much, but there are a few things. So if you have already had or are pregnant with your second, third.... did you or will you register for stuff?

No I didn't register.  We really needed nothing.  The only reason I would is to get the % off to buy the stuff myself - I wouldn't tell people about the registry since I didn't have a shower for the second.  No one in my circle of friends has second showers or even "sprinkles".

No, only needed like 2-3 things, so it would have been silly.

Yes, because I knew my playgroup moms were throwing me a shower and whether or not my family was throwing me a shower (which they are) I knew certain people would want to know what we wanted/needed.  Basically, it was boy colored towels, sheets, etc. since we bought all the big things gender neutral last time.

I did, but didn't share it.  I used it as a list of things we needed or I wanted to get for this time. It was nice getting the completion discount to go towards the few things we needed (nursing pads, storage bags, triple paste, california baby wash).

Yes, but mainly for myself (and then to get the discounts) only a few things that I really need to get new and can't reuse from DS#1. I registered on BRU and Amazon.  I just had a "sprinkle" and a few people (family) got me things from them.  It's nice for organization's sake.

I'm newly pregnant with #2, but I won't register unless someone throws me a shower (which I do not expect this time) and asks me to. We have everything we'll need, unless it's a boy, then we'll need clothes, but I love buying clothes and seems other people do too, so I'm not too worried. We also have enough gender neutral stuff in the small sizes to get by for a month or two.

No we really didn't need anything except for a new crib and mattress and we bought that. We got so many gifts and have double the baby stuff since we had twins first. We may have bought a few different things if we were having a boy, but baby #3 is another girl so she's basically set for life now!

I did, like others, as a list for myself, but knew I wasn't getting a shower. A lot of people asked me if I had a registry anyway and I was able to say yes. I got a lot more than I expected from it- but maybe that's because #1 is so much older- we really did start over. Doesn't hurt to make one and refer people to it jic they ask!

I did because I thought it was fun to register and to have a list of things I needed or wanted. Once we found out he was a boy, of course we added all the nursery decor items etc. I did have a sprinkle, but did not tell anyone I was registered. Only my mom went and looked it up and bought things from it.

I made a registry at PBK after we knew the sex and planned his room. I made the date be only 2 days out since everything you buy off the registry for 6 months AFTER you get 10% off. I did the rug, curtains, changing table, lamp from there so in that case, it was super helpful.:)

Also, with #1, she had lifetime furniture, (crib to toddler bed to full size) and a changing table that we added the matching hutch, to so we did need new furniture for the new baby. had we reused everything, we would have needed ALOT less stuff.
