What are you craving??

My cravings are starting! With DD, I always craved mac and cheese with bean burritos. Now all I want to eat is cereal, Coco Puffs and Cinnamon Toast Crunch to be specific.I ate cereal for lunch and dinner yesterday Indifferent  (and yes, I cooked my family a "normal" dinner)

  • Last night I wanted a hot dog soooo bad, which sucks because we aren't supposed to eat hot dogs! My other craving so far has been smoothies, and now that you said mac and cheese I think I am going to go make some of that too! Lol. It's not so much cravings as someone will mention something and I'm like omg that sounds so good I want it now!

  • I wanted a Itialian BMT from Subway sooo bad! DH got my one, he told me he had them microwave the meat and then toast the whole sandwich. :)

  • I eat mac and cheese ALL the time. One gal I work with teases me about having Easy Mac so often. I had to tell her it's because it sounds and tastes good.

    I was craving ranch bugles the other day. Normal bugles are good, too, though.

    Oh, and I am now obsessed with Cocoa Puffs cereal. I had it for lunch with a couple of pieces of toast. It was amazing.

  • The past week it's been broccoli cheddar soup...I don't have any cravings right now...waiting for the next one :-)

I had 2 last night, the Applegate Farms brand from Whole Foods.  They are uncured, without nitrates/nitrites, and your listeria risk is non-existent if they're heated to 160 degrees, just like lunch meat.  They also make bacon and a whole variety of lunch meats you can eat without the preservatives. 

    I've been craving cantaloupe, so I had a huge one this morning.

    Oh that sounds sooooo good right now.   I haven't had specific cravings.  Occasionally something sounds really good, but it's not what I would call a craving.  To me, a craving is something you want all the time and you can't think about anything else.

  • I've been craving carbs! I want bread, pasta, potatoes. Right now I could go for a black bean burrito with rice. Mmmm.....

    Just FYI - while Applegate Farms does not add pure nitrites - they add concentrated celery juice. Celery has a natural form of nitrates and adding it can actually add more nitrites than just adding a small amount of chemical nitrite.     That being said - I personally think nitrites in moderation are okay and will be having some regular bacon with dinner tonight.

  • Ugh today I can't keep anything down, normally though, sour stuff, like salt and vinegar chips, sour patch kids, and orange juice. Also lots of dairy products.

    Most things that are outlawed while pregnant are ok in moderation, you have to look at the levels in which they are unsafe and the frequency of it actually causing a problem. If you are out somewhere and eat a hot dog your baby isn't going to be born with 5 arms. If you exclusively eat hot dogs it may cause an issue.

  • I mostly crave milk. Which is weird cuz I'm lactose intolerant. So I thought, ok, I'll just pour myself a glass of this here soy milk that I've got and go about my day. Big mistake. I puked it up.  But I can keep dairy milk down....wich makes for some.....ahem...issues later. But aside from that, I crave fruits(of any kind), nuts, veggies, Quaker Rice Snackers in Ranch or Caramel flavor....but mostly just milk is my craving. I used to crave cool ranch doritos dipped in warm gooey brownies....

  • Pretty much anything carb-related.  I've been eating a lot of cereal, bagels, toast, etc.  Although for lunch, all I wanted was apples.  I'm interested to see what I'll be craving for dinner...

  • I have been craving egg rolls and chocolate peanut butter cup perfection ice cream from Cold Stone!
  • I've been craving Linguine and clam sauce, and toaster strudels!  I'm always hungry....its becoming a problem...ugh.
  • Cereal is a big one- cinnamon toast crunch is awesome and so is the new frosted wheat cereal- good stuff!  Today I just wanted chips and hummus.  Yumm

  • With DD it was Fuji Apples (it could ONLY be Fuji) and Clementines. 

    2nd was milk, that was pretty much it.

    This one is milk and chocolate chip waffles - I went though a box of 10 of them this weekend :O
