Busted lip help

Last night ds2 fell out of bed and busted his lip pretty good. I am talking blood all over sheets and all he wanted to do is go back to sleep, he cried for like 2 seconds. We get him cleaned up and back into bed but he was so tired he really didnt want me to look at it so I look as best I could with a fighting toddler.

This morning his lip is so swollen and horrible looking and white, is the whiteness common. The cut looked kinda deep last night but he is not acting bothered by it, and I know doctors wont do anything inside the mouth unless its hanging off. (we took took ds1 in after his tooth went though his lip).   The white color of the underneat of the lip has me a little concerened. If I need to call the Ped I need to get the consult in first thing.

IT'S COMPLETELY NORMAL.

the white is the dead skin tissue. Mouth is one of the fastest healing parts of the body.
