Daytime diaper size

DD has been using Huggies little movers size 3 for a while. The size 3 diapers are good for babies between 16 and 28 pounds. The size 4 diapers are for babies from 22 to 37 pounds. DD weights 22 pounds so, in theory, we could move to size 4 now, although she is in the lower end of the weight range. 

I am thinking about this because we have had leaks 3 times this week, which has never happened before. Should I switch to size 4? switch brands?

We switch when the leaks start happening.  DD2 was about 22lbs when we switched to size 4 (though, it was only at night for us, because she was potty trained by then).  But yes, leaks = switching for us.

We usually switched even before DS was at the low end of the new size.  They just seemed to work better - I took it as a sign to move him up a size.  We just made sure they were on securely, so they wouldn't seem loose, and went with it.
