Hello there lovely ladies,
I got my BFP on wed, March 2, on my DH's 35th birthday (8dpo). I am so super excited. This was cycle number 3 for us.
I am 25, DH just turned 35, and this will be our first child. My EDD is November 15.
My question for those of you who are still charting (I had planned on charting until at least 18-20 dpo). My temp dropped a little bit this morning and I am worried about it. I have this irrational fear that AF is going to show up at any moment. I keep hearing all the comments about those with short LP's on the TTC board and for some reason I am afraid that impantation will not complete or if it has that I will have a CP. My LP's have been about 13 days so I know this is silly. I have no logical raeson of why I think this, I guess maybe it just has not sunk in all the way yet?? Anyone else out there feeling this way too? Any tips for a noob? Thanks and I am so happy to be here!
Re: Intro and a question from a worrywort
Hi & congratulations!
If you are turning a HPT positive, than implantation has already occurred. My advice is to put down the BBT. Temperatures can be erratic during pregnancy and seeing a temp drop will just make you panic.
I didn't take my own advice and continued to temp for a few days after my BFP. I too had a temp drop. That was weeks ago and I am still pregnant.
I am nervous too. The only thing we can do is be happy that we are pregnant right now. Best of luck to you!

If you got a positive HPT, implantation occurred. I think my best advice would be to stop charting because it could make you crazy. You are pregnant, so you don't need to wait for a rise in temps or dip below the coverline to assume AF is coming. With a positive HPT, you won't be getting AF for a long time!
Good luck!
Congratulations on the BFP!
My advice to you, put the BBT down! There's a reason they say to stop temping once you get a BFP - your temps will still fluctuate and you'll drive yourself mad with worry over nothing. Put it away in a drawer and call your dr's office to book an appt.
Congrats!!!
I would say to put the BBT down also but mostly I just wanted to say that we are EDD buddies!
