Cloth Diapering

Trial on Jillian's Drawers

I'm looking into starting to cloth diaper my son (now that we have our own washer and dry and aren't doing our laundry once a week at my dad's house).

I was wondering if anyone did the trial on Jillian's Drawers and if it was worth it.

I like the idea of being able to try out the diapers before I just buy a bunch and see what I like.

Or is there anything else that you suggest to try out diapers.

My son is a wiggly little (almost) 6 month old, he's around 18.5 pounds, if that helps any.

  • I did the trial. TOTALLY worth it, IMO. DH was really against putting out the money until we were sure we liked CDing in general and which CDs we prefer.

Turns out we love it and haven't looked back!

  • That trial was the best thing we ever did! I thought we'd love prefolds and covers, but it turns out we hated them, and loved pocket diapers. It's a great way for you to try out what's available and get used to the whole thing. Good luck!

  • This was us to!  The trial was the best thing ever.  We got to experiment with all varieties and DH realized that he actually liked cloth better than disposables! We love it too....SO glad we switched!!!
