Finding an in home daycare provider

I'm looking for a part-time in home day care provider (in their home, not mine) for my daughter.  How did you go about finding yours?  I've gotten recommendations from some people, but I have yet to find the perfect fit.  If you like your provider, would you be willing to PM me their info?  We're in the southwest portion Darien and I work in Naperville, so we're looking for anything around there (Darien, Bolingbrook, Downers, Woodridge, Lisle, Naperville, etc).

Try here. It's the child care resource referral system.   Call the number and they ask a few questions and they send you a list of potential providers.  There is a fee for the service, but it's based on income and was well worth it for us. It's what I used to find Nathaniel's in home provider.  (we're way south or I would recommend her to you.)
