getting flu shot while already sick?

Kaygan has her followup pedi appt this morning. Last friday he told us she had the flu and a double ear infection. She's been on meds all week, but got a really bad cough after we'd seen him. The cough is still lingering, but not bad anymore. He'd mentioned giving her a second flu shot today if her ear infection was gone. I'm not too keen on flu shots to begin with, but I'm really leary of it since she's already working off something else. Thoughts?

I think they only don't give them if they have a fever.

I'm unpopular with this opinion, but I'm not big on flu shots.  They make me sick, sicker than the flu makes me!  I can't get them right now, but even if I could, I wouldn't.  I'd skip it.  Flu season's almost over anyway.
