does anyone get vaginal spasm/cramp?

I just want to make sure I am normal.

every once in awhile (maybe once a day) I get weird sensation in my vagina.  I cant really explain it.  It isnt a spasm or a cramp, kind of like a gas pain...? anyone? 

I know my friend told me she got those feelings later on in the pregnancy when she was showing, but this is early.  I dont think I am stretching too much in there, am I?

I got that driving home the other day. Felt like I was being stabbed! But it went away after that. I think it's normal growing pains.

I have ulcerative colitis, so I get so much gas cramping all the time that I cant tell the difference between number 2 cramps and period type cramps so that is freaking me out constantly and then this vagina stabbing (good description) .... scares me.

Probably 4-6 times so far...not frequently.  I would describe it as a "twinge" feeling that maybe lasts like 10 seconds then goes away.

I remember this from last pregnancy, but it seems it happened later in pregnancy.  Everybody was calling it "lightning crotch".
