Honestly. I don't even drink caffeine when I am not PG but I am so desparately tired that I think someone should start a petition to repeal that rule. With LO #1 I could nap. Not now....
Life is either a daring adventure or it is nothing at all.

Oh I'm right there with ya. I switched to decaf, but I still drink soda (not a lot, maybe 1 a day). There are moments when I pray for an IV full of caffeine.

I wish I had some this afternoon! Took DD for a walk with my friend and halfway through I was exhausted. I was literally nodding off while trying to read to DD after the walk and it was only 5 pm!
I second this. I still drink a cup of coffee when I really need it. I feel the risk of a cup of coffee is worth not falling asleep while your LO gets into something dangerous. What did our moms and grandmas do? Drank it and had a dozen healthy babies. LOL
I drink caffeine every day. Can't function without it..and I get awful headaches if i go without. I make my lattes at home.. And make it with just one shot of espresso (its only 75mg of caffeine so way below the recommended of below 300mg)
I didn't start drinking caffeine til 2nd tri with my son... But then drank it daily so he would get used to it in utero and then had it while I nursed for 15 months. Didn't affect him at all.
