green stringy poo

Most of my LO's poops are stringy and green.  I asked the pediatrician (re: green, not stringy) and she said not to worry.  However, I keep wondering why.  Thoughts?

    I do think I have oversupply (although I pumped today and got only 1oz). Because I had read a little of the heavy let down issue, I have been leaning back when I nurse and only nursing on one side within a 2 hour or so block of time.  I had read about the green poo, but I didn't think that it was stringy with this too. 

    Any solutions?  DD nurses for long periods of time (30-60 minutes), but isn't constantly swallowing.
