We survived!

So we made the trip! We had planned to heave at 3am but didn't get going till 7am. We made stops for breakfast, lunch at dinner. We stopped at Ikea for lunch so they could roam around for awhile. A trip that is normally about 11 hours took 15 hours with all the stops but we didn't have any melt downs!

We used dual dvd's in the back and played Baby Signing Time most of the way! Once we got to the IL's though it sucked- they didn't nap, they were passed around like crazy and slept horribly at night. They both developed monster colds too! argh

The trip back went just as well- this time we left at 3am and were home by 5pm. It was a lot easier and again around lunch we went to an outlet mall so they got to get out of the car for awhile.

We have decided to start looking into minivans after this trip though! Missed you ladies!

Glad to here your trip went well! DH is against getting a mini-van now - and I was wondering how long it will take for him to come around. We'll see - I am surprised you lasted 9 months
