I called Playtex about the leaking straw cup

They said that 95% of the reason why they leak is that the hard straw is insterted into the rubber staw too far and that causes the star shaped stopper thingy to open. She said I should barely insert it. She is also sending my a coupon for $7.99 towards Playtex cups.

Just thought I should let you girls know! I know there were a few of us having this problem.

::smacks forhead:: DUH! I can't believe I've been shoving that thing in there so far. That never even occurred to me. Hopefully that fixes the problem cause I hate cleaning up all the leaks.

Is yours flowing out the top of the straw? If so I've tried barely inserting it and it doesn't really help. At least we still have the issue with milk. It seems to be less of an issue with water. I've basically stopped using the Playtex straw cups with milk because they're such a mess.

Yes, it leaks through the top of the straw. So far since I've tried it today we haven't had any leaks. If I do get leaks again, I'm just going to keep water in those cups, a lot easier to clean up.
