DH and I live overseas most of the year and I'm just wondering if there are any forums/message boards on here for people out of the US (we're in Africa)...didn't see any, but since I'm fairly new, I thought I'd check--maybe I missed it?

Re: Anything on the Bump for those overseas?
I was thinking there might be an International Nesties board, but I was obviously too lazy to look before I replied.
You can always ask the Bump to see if they can add a board.
I decided to take a second look and you're right, there is an International Nesties board--really wide range of topics, but your memory served you well
Thanks again!
I know what you mean! DH and I have been going back and forth about whether to have babies here in Ghana or go back to the States. Going back would be nice because my family and friends would be around-but it would mean possibly being apart because he would have to get back for work and that would just suck. It'll be much easier logistically for us to stay here for the whole thing
But nope, I haven't found anything...the closest I've found was a International Nesties board--but the range of discussion is sooooo broad. I don't know if another site would have something. And I don't really feel like hunting all over the internet right now, so I'm just hanging out in the regular Trying to Get Pregnant (TTGP) board
I'm not sure about being pregnant, because we're trying for our first
but as far as TTC goes, so far there are of course pros and cons...one of the biggest pros is honestly that since we're far from my family, I'm not getting all kinds of questions from them about when we're going to get pregnant and whether we're trying. We do get a lot of comments from people here, and a couple have come from MH's family, but for me at least it doesn't feel as pressuring as if I had my sisters asking me when we're going to have a baby.
The main cons so far have been a lack of access to TTC items--when i go to the pharmacy and ask if they have a a BBT, I get blank stares at best...then they hand me a regular thermometer and ask if this is what I meant, lol. And we've been looking for OPKs, but everytime we go to the pharmacy they say "Oh! We just ran out...we'll get more tomorrow". This conversation has happened so many times now we just walk in and they say "Tomorrow"
