D.C. Area Babies

Goodness, they're growing up too fast!

DD is 4 months old today.  FOUR.  That's 1/3 of the way through the year already!

DS's diaper leaked last night, and instead of crying from his bed for comfort/a change of clothes/diaper, he got out of bed, unzipped his footie pajamas, took them off, pulled out a pair of pajama pants, and put them  on.  He couldn't get the pajama shirt on--they're really tight, and he hasn't ever put a shirt on on his own anyway--so he then sat down in the hallway and waited for me to get up.

This is a kid that until now has completely refused to even attempt putting clothes on.

Oh, and why didn't he then come and wake me up?  He wanted me to "get my rest".

GAAH!  Go back to being only two little guy!

  • Perhaps your guy could come have a talk w/my little guy who thinks an hour and a half is a sufficiently long enough time for mom to sleep....

I was thinking something along these lines, too!  :)

  • Gah it's insane how fast this is going. Reed will be 5 months in 10 days and is rolling all over the place and grabbing his feet. I feel like he was just born.
  • That's the best.story.ever. Sweet.
