The MFMs at Oschner on Jefferson are incredible. Dr Robichaux handled my pregnancy, and I also saw Dr Longo sometimes. I cannot recommend them more.
I also saw Dr Miller a few times, and I was very unhappy with him and his bedside manner, so I switched to Dr Robichaux, and I loved him. He is a very kind, gentle man.
There are other MFMs at Oschner now (when I was there, there were only the two I mentioned) and I've heard great things about them all.
I'm thinking Ochsner...all of my medical records are there and I'm certain that Dr. Longo was the one they made my appt with at the end of March. I was also thinking of taking a visit to East Jeff to see there Labor and Delivery floor. Is it normal for you to have to wait until your 8 wks if you are high-risk to see the doctor?

I suppose it depends on what kind of "high risk" you are. I found out I was having triplets at my 7 w ultrasound, but I had to wait until 16 weeks to see the MFM.
EJ is supposed to be good, but Dr Miller is the MFM there, so personally, I'd stay away.
