13 weeks and still throwing up

Anyone else this far and still suffering with morning sickness? Actually mine is never in the morning but I feel sick all day and the last three nights I have thrown-up. I even take Zofran! I thought it was supposed to get better by this point. Please tell me I am not the only one who is 13 weeks and still miserable. I really don't want to be one of those that is sick the entire pregnancy.

I'm just past twelve weeks and still throwing up, too. In fact, today it's been three times already!

  • Me too. I have to take my zofran shortly after waking up or its a t/u fest in the bathroom. By the afternoon I start to feel nauseous again but never t/u.

I think it may be starting to get a little better b/c on some weekends when I know I'm not going to be doing a lot I try not to take the zofran and it has gotten better.

I'm praying it goes away by 20 weeks. My mom had it the whole pregnancy with me(i was her first) and was even on zofran and it was still bad. It wasnt like that with her other pregnancies. Im really hoping it wont last the whole time. I may be weird for saying this, but when I do lose those symptoms I know im gonna start worrying so a part of me is relieved when I do start to feel nauseous

  • Sorry you all are suffering too, but your pain makes me feel so much better. It gives me hope since obviously I am not alone.

  • With DS, it lasted until I was 18 weeks. My OB kept telling me it would get better once I hit 13 weeks. She lied. I'm still sick with this one, and I'm terrified it will last just as long or longer.

  • Me!  I've heard 15 weeks is the magic week when things change.  I just keep thinking I can handle this for 1 more week!  I will say it's slightly better but not much which gives me hope.  Hang in there.

  • I'm sorry you are still dealing with this!  My friend threw up well into her 20th week--she's having a little girl :)

I hope it goes away soon!

  • Still throwing up at least two times a day and it's getting progressively worse week by week, not better! ;( Sometimes I'm throwing up so hard/much that I just sit there crying like a baby in the bathroom beside the toilet lol I'm a suck, but this is killing me!! I would take the pain of labour over this any day since this is just mean...6 weeks and counting...

And even though for the most part throwing up doesnt hurt (Ok maybe dry heaving does a little) but it's just a terrible feeling to be sick like that

  • Me! I suffer from all day sickness. I take Zofran and it takes the edge off, but doesn't completely provide me with relief. After I take the Zofran in the morning I feel decent until about 5pm and then I am back at square one. Here's hoping we have a better time soon.
  • I'm with you. I throw up atleast 6 times a day everyday and I am nauseous all day long. I barely leave the house anymore and by the time DH comes home I have to hand him the kids and make a run for the couch or bed. I was sick like this for 25+weeks with both of my boys so I am thinking this isn't going to end soon.

I too was on Zofran but I stopped taking it when it didn't make a difference if I did or didn't.

    This sucks.
