Symptoms decrease at 9-10 weeks?

After about 3 weeks of nausea, my m/s has been almost nonexistent the last few days.  Also, I'm feeling like I finally have a little bit more energy.  Still having tender breasts, frequent urination, hunger, and the bloat/bump in my belly.  While I'm glad to be feeling better, it was kind of comforting "feeling more pregnant".  I'm trying not to be paranoid, but I'm nervous because my first u/s isn't until next week.  Did anyone else experience this around 9-10 weeks?

  • I did! Enjoy it while it lasts - mine came back with a vengeance after about a week! Hope yours stays good and gone!

  • Yes, for me it happened just a little later, like 11-12 weeks. Try to not worry too much and enjoy feeling better!

  • Hi there, yes I experienced this also. I started feeling better in my 9th week, then it would come and go for the next week or two.  Lately I've been feeling great and getting my energy back this week.  I called the dr at 9 weeks to tell her I was worried because i felt so good!  They said not to worry, it's totally normal, and to relax and enjoy it!  Just had my 12 wk appointment and saw the heartbeat :)  Try to relax and enjoy the days that you're not feeling queezy :)

  • Yes and I freaked and emailed my mw and she had me come in for an us and everything was perfect.  She said that I just was one of the lucky few that feels better sooner than 11 and 12 weeks.

  • Mine stopped at 9w5d and came back with a vengence 10w2d.  But now at 11 weeks the symptoms are slowly fading and are somewhat bearable.

  • You will be very very lucky if you only had symptoms for three weeks! Mine have been doing strong since week 6, and have been the worst last week and this week. Yuck!!

  • Thanks for posting. I am going through the same thing right now! I never had nausea with DD so it has been hard to compare the two pregnancies so far.

  • Totally!!  The same thing happened for me around 10ish weeks, but unfortunately it was short lived and my m/s came back.  You'll find that they'll start to lessen and you'll have better good days in between.  I'm still waiting on my final reprieve from m/s.

This is me.  I felt great around 9 weeks and then 10 weeks I was miserable.  Now that I am 11 weeks, I feel more normal and of course, now worried.  (I had a m/c in October so every little thing worries me.)  I just keep feeling my boobs to make sure they are still tender and pushing on my bloat/bump.  I have my NT scan u/s on March 16th so I can't wait to see my little one on the screen and sigh a big sigh of relief.

  • Mine have increased.  I have had bad nausea the entire time, super tender breasts, up at night to pee, etc.  Starting Monday the nausea got worse and the t/u has begun along with still having all of the other wonderful things.  I had to take off early Monday and today because I couldn't even sit at my desk without running to the bathroom!

This EXACTLY.  I posted an almost identical post to yours last week and here I am---sick, nauseated, and throwing up again popping Zofran.  Enjoy it while it lasts, because it very well may come back before you know it!
