We have some narrowed down, and DH has put in his opinion. I have really been leaning toward Estelle, and he suggested Elin (Ee-lin). We decided we both really like Elin Estelle.
Then he said he heard the name Sabra or Sabrah (pronounced Say-brah-not the official pronunciation I believe, but that's how I like it pronounced). I love the name (only pronounced the possibly incorrect way), but we are not sure about a middle name.
Any and all opinions please! TIA
Re: Opinions needed please
Not a fan of Elin...makes me think of Tiger Woods' ex-wife.
HATE Sabra...unless you are Jewish since that is the meaning of the word.

And about 4 posts down there is someone thinking of Elin Estella for their girl...weird.
you may want to reword how you say this. You hate it considering the meaning - does that mean you hate the fact that it refers to Jewish people.. or isrealies? Just wondering.

Hmmm....
I love Estelle. LOVE it. It's one of my favorite names, and I wish stupid DH was on board.
Elin just makes me think of Tiger Woods' ex-wife. Always and forever. It's such a unique name, and that's the only time I (and I would assume most people) have heard it. And I come from a pretty Swedish family, so it's not for lack of heritage.
Sabra just makes me think of the word "sabre," which isn't that flattering IMO. I think a child with the all-too-common problem of crooked teeth is in for a long few years (pre-braces) being called "the Sabra-toothed Tiger."
ETA: After reading all the heritage associated with Sabra, you should DEFINITELY not use it unless you're Jewish. Seriously.
