Minky - too hot for summer?

I don't own any of these yet and thinking about buying some off diaperswappers. DD will be 1 in April so she will be active outside in the summer.

Do these tend to be too hot in the summer? If so, what are some cooler options?

I put DD in minky last summer in Florida and she was fine. She was not mobile our outdoors a lot though. I think they will be fine.
