Update on me: not ptl, otherwise inconclusive

The FFN test came back negative, which dr assumed it would....so they're 99% sure it wasn't anything to do with preterm labor.

I had an ultrasound this morning and they were "pretty sure" that all they saw was a couple venous lakes. Two different techs looked to compare what they thought, and they both agreed. They both also were laughing and saying "No wonder you're in so much pain...she's kicking so hard we can't even keep the ultrasound on your belly!" I have a hyper hypo in there, I guess. They thought maybe there was a fibroid there, but they weren't totally sure and couldn't get a good look at it since someone just kept jacking the machine...

Still don't really know why I hurt so badly, but maybe I really am just a big ol baby. Thanks for the t&p.

I'm glad that they didn't find anything of concern & that you've got such a feisty LO in there!

Sorry to hear you didn't get any conclusive answers, but glad to hear that the medical professionals don't seem concerned!

Glad to hear it isn't something serious but sucks you are still in so much pain. I feel like an old lady too:( I'm tired all the time. Once I get home from work each day, my back hurts so bad and my belly feels so stretched that all I do is lay on the couch the rest of the evening. SO much for feeling great in second tri. Take it easy!

Well I'm glad it wasn't PTL, but that stinks that they couldn't give you a definite reason for the pain. That's always the worst, because then there's no way to treat it. Take care of yourself, hun!
