When did you start using or training your LO to eat out of a bowl as opposed to putting food on the highchair tray? Right now DD just wants to dump the bowl.
BTW, I'm kinda interested in that gyro bowl (as seen on TV)
I'm curious also but won't spend the $.
T doesn't get a bowl or plate anymore because with them all the food lands on the floor at once. At least without one, she has to pick the food up individually to throw on the floor.

Not sure when, but Publix used to have a bowl that had a suction on the bottom so that it would stick to the tray. Babies "r" Us might have it too. Used it with my first and worked great when he wanted to throw the dish. Good luck to you. :-)

Munchkin makes suction cup bowls. First time I used one, C instantly figured out how to un-suction it. So that was kind of a fail. We still use them, but don't rely on them staying put.

Yep, this exactly!
For some reason L does a lot better with flat plates than with bowls, maybe because its easier to grab the bowl? We will give him the plate and when he starts throwing food we'll take it back and just give him bites for the rest of the meal.
Some meals go better than others, but overall he is much better than he was a month or two ago! At first we'd have to pick it up after the first couple bites, but now he usually goes through most of the meal before he starts throwing...
Re: Bowls
I gave up on bowls but, need to eventually teach Robby some manners!
