Stripping Membranes?

Hi guys, not that my baby is out yet but ... was wondering if anyone had their membranes stripped and if this actually puts people into labor? Am trying for a VBAC but they won't induce so it's coming down to the wire, had membranes stripped today. Thanks!!!

    i had my membranes stripped 3 times and i had to be induced :o(

    I had mine stripped on a Friday & went into labor that Saturday...My boy arrived on Monday :) Good luck!

    Had mine stripped on a Thursday, went into labor the following Tuesday.

    With DD #1 I had my membranes stripped on a Monday afternoon and my water broke that Tuesday evening. This time around with DD #2, I had them stripped on a Wednesday afternoon and woke up in labor the next morning. GL!
