My mom was dying to know what the baby's name was going to be.  We didn't tell ANYONE the name before Kate was born, and weren't planning to this time either.  But today I caved and let her guess. I know she won't tell anyone, but if  I tell DH that I told her, he'll want to tell his mom and then the world will know.  I hate keeping secrets from DH, but it was nice to tell someone!

As long as your mom won't slip, I don't see anything wrong with keeping that from your DH.

I was very tempted today to solicit opinions of our choices, but I refrained.  I'm not sure I'll hold out until delivery.
