So Frustrated

So my little girl is having surgery tomorrow and I am so nervous about it. My mom was supposed to watch my 3 year old, but since the surgery is on the 1st of the month she couldn't get off work. After not having any other options I agreed w/ DH that his grandmother and aunt could watch. His grandmother insisted that she had to spend the night b.c she would be able to make it to our house as early as we needed to leave. I also agreed to this against my netter judgement. Lilly has never spent the night anywhere besides at my parents house. Well last night my husband informed me that since his grandmother has issues w/ me I couldn't go to drop her off b/c his grandmother didn't want me in her house. I just am so pissed that he didn't stick up for me. I'm grateful that his grandmother is doing us a favor, however I think it is total B.S that I could go and say goodbye to my daughter. I really wanted to talk to his grandmother about Lilly's schedule and things instead of having to go through him b/c she won't call or talk to me on the phone, and I wanted to say goodbye to Lilly and make sure she was ok. I'm the one that has to tuck her in every night and put her to bed. I'm just so frustrated with the situation and with how my husband is with her. 

 

Hopefully everything will be okay tonight, and tomorrow for her. Now I know not only am I going to worry about Reagan's surgery but also Lilly.

OMG! I cant believe his grandmother! Im sorry you have to deal with that. I would definitely have a chat with your husband about how you feel. Thats ridiculous that she doesnt want you in her house, but she will watch your daughter no problem. Believe me, I have some minor issues with my in laws (who doesnt), but that is no way to treat your family. 

I hope everything goes ok with the surgery tomorrow!
