So I got the orders for my Glucose test from my dr. today and wanted to get it schedeuled. Well, now I see why I paid to much out of pocket before.
Back Story: When I went for my beginning of PG blood work I had to pay $300.00 dollars out of pocked and insurance only paid like $100.00, which I thought was odd.. But I just paid it and didn't think anything of it.
Well this time I decided to investigate it all more, well it's because only certain lab corps are covered by certain insurances---the one that covers my insurance is 45 miles away in DC. My insurance company told me that I had paid that much before because it was an out of network lab.
Needless to say I'll be calling me dr. tomorrow and having her change the orders to a lab in my network of drs.
