BF mama's- when did you get your first PP period?

DD is 7 weeks now and not like I'm waiting on the edge of my seat for Aunt Flo to show her lovely face again (ugh) but I've been going through my usual pre-period crap for over a week and a half now! My face is breaking out, I'm exceptionally tired, been getting migraines, craving chocolate, bloating, etc. DH is panicking that I'm preggors again even though we've had sex all of 3 times and always used a condom. Just wondering when I should be expecting that monthly gift...

I seem to be starting, some brownish spotting and cramping for two days now but no real period.

Everyone is so different. Even though I am EBF I still got mine at 8 weeks PP.

I had a very very light one at about 4 weeks.... but it was so light I never had to wear anything more than the lite pads and only for 1 1/2 days.

BFing mamas are like that. I've heard it can last 3 months though.

With my first LO, I didn't get my period til 9 months PP.  Hoping it'll be the same this time around.

I am EBF and I just started spotting this morning, so I'm guessing it's on its way.

It seems like there is a lot of variation in getting your first PP period when BFing.  I didn't get my first period until I had completely weaned my son - so I was 11 months PP.

With DD I nursed her for a year and didn't get it for another 6 months after I stopped.

with DS i didn't get it until 10 mos pp

With DD1, my cycle didn't return until 9 months PP. Hoping it will berth same this time.

5 weeks PP.

It was 11 weeks PP with my first daughter, and I thought that was early.

I bled for 5 weeks pp and haven't gotten a period since. I hope AF doesn't show her ugly face at least until I wean LO off the BM.

With DD#1, I didn't get my first PP period until I weaned her at 17 months old. I had one period and got pregnant 2 weeks later but miscarried. Got pregnant right away after the mc with this baby. She is only 3 weeks old tomorrow (can't change my friggin siggy for some reason) and if all goes the same with her, I will go over 4 years with only one period. We will see!

I nursed till 17 months with DD and got pregnant 3 days after I weaned- no period. I caught the first egg! This time DS is 6 weeks and hoping the same happens! It's been since Feb of 2008 with no period!

I was still spotting at 4 weeks pp with my daughter- are you sure everyone is having a period not just lochia still?
