WWBOTBD - a shower question

I'm invited to a baby shower in NY that I can't go to. I'd like to order the gift today so I don't forget - Graco snap & go infant car seat frame stroller thingy. I've been trying to get in touch with her mother, the designated RSVP'er. I couldn't get in touch with her, I don't want to leave a message as friend is over there a ton, and I don't know if it's a surprise. 

Do I send the gift to her directly? She did the registry, so it's not like this would ruin a surprise, right?

Do I send it to her mom without talking to her first?

I have sudafed head and can't seem to make a decision.

If this posts 3 times it's not my fault. Bump is being stupid today.

I would send it directly to her. She registered for it, I'm sure she knows she's having a shower (whether or not she knows the details of date/time/etc), I don't think it will ruin any possible surprise.
