Food Sensitivity Check In

This check in is for mamas who have had to restrict their diet due to food sensitivities in their LOs or themselves.

The theme for this week is favorite snacks. What's your favorite allergy friendly snack?


Any random tips, vents, etc. are also welcome.

  • Coconut Milk Ice Cream. I had to cut it out for months, but it's back, & I'm sooooooo happy.

    Rice Chex & Nana's Cookie Bars are great for on the go. I'll break up a cookie bar for Ari too - he likes the banana flavor.

    Fruit is another hit here.

  • I went pistachio crazy this weekend. My mom sent me garlic pistachios from a local farm and I pretty much ate them until my mouth was raw. I also do a lot of apples and celery with peanut or sunflower butter.

    DD is down to 1 nursing session during the week and two on weekends. I'm not trying to rush the weaning process but I can almost taste the pizza and the raviolis and the grilled cheese and....At least when weaning does happen I will be able to bury my sorrows in dairy.

  • I just finished devouring falafel chips (Flamous) and hummus (Hannah makes nice little single serving packages).

  • Week # 2 of corn-free, gluten-free, soy-free.

    I am pleased to find that I can have eggs and dairy!!  YIPPEEEEEE

    My new favorite things are hummus chips and home-made salsa.

    All of these! I also got some Pomegranate Popsicles made by Dryers, they are SO yummy!
