Another is this gender neutral enough bedding question

We're going with an owl theme and I've totally fallen in love with this bedding:

We would be painting the walls blue to match the blue zig zag.

Is this gender-neutral enough? A friend told us that we were really slanting towards boy with the blues, browns, and greens, that we needed to incorparate more yellow to make it more neutral, but I really don't like yellow. That and really, DH and I love the more blues/greens/browns color range in general. Even if we have a girl, I'm not a fan of pink, plenty of cute things in that color, it just isn't my style.

BTW we're team green.

I do think it's "boy slanted but doable for a girl."  If you do end up with a girl, I would add some more feminine wall decor or something in coordinating colors.

Yup, we would very much be adding more girl to it. I'm sure with a girl that pink will happen, and we're ok with that. But yes, with a girl, we will certainly girl it up.

Super, super cute! But I'd add in some "girly" decor/colors if you're having a girl. Love it though.

I like yours a ton, but I think it is slants a bit more too boy than this one does for me :-)

I definitely think it's slanted more for a boy...but it can totally work for a girl too if you do it right!

Yes, though I'll need to take a second look at it. For some reason I looked at it and then moved on. Thanks! I'll take a peek now that I have been reminded again!
