I have a short, 25 day cycle, and last AF was on the 3rd, making AF due as early as today. Well, for the past 3 days, I've been having a little bit of CM that's pink/brown tinged. Friday, it was very light. Thought it may be implantation considering I was 8 DPO at the time but then I realzied I was so close to AF. Throughout the weekend, I still had very little CM. This is only noticed when I wipe, so need for a liner or anything. Today, I noticed a little bit more. However, it's still the same color- kind of a light tan color.

Usually I will have this the day of, or day before AF accompanied by cramps, but no cramps at all this time. I haven't taken a test today at 11 DPO but would it still be worth it? I took one yesterday at 10 DPO. BFN of course. This sounds more like AF just gearing up and lagging a bit instead of just coming full force the first day, right? Any of you every experience this and eventually get a BFP? Would love to hear some thoughts. Thank you ladies!

No. But maybe you just O'd late? Do you chart? If not you can sign up to chart through Fertility Friend by clicking on anyone's ticker that way you will have a better idea of when you ovulate and when your period will show.

I actually had the same spotting all weekend and was hoping for implantation bleeding....no such luck.  AF showed up today.  I would wait to test.

Yup, I had the same experience last month.  I had never had pre-AF spotting like that and was hoping it as imp. bleeding, but nope, it was just like 3 days of spotting.

I've had it a couple of times for various lengths (2-5 days of tinted cm), but it always resulted in AF, never a BFP.  Sorry.  Hope you have better luck.

I usually have a 31 day cycle and I started spotting 3 days before AF was due. I tested a day before AF was due and got a BFN. I don't chart or anything so I can only assume that she's late or I O'd late, but I plan on testing again tomorrow (3 days "late") just for peace of mind. I'm am also not having any PMS symptoms. The more I read on this board, the more I notice other women having the same issue. GL
