Baby wont wake up

Im worried about my 7 week old boy.  He is going on his 7th hour of sleep. He never sleeps this long and I've been trying to wake him up. Ive tried changing his diaper and even a wet wash cloth on his face. He stirs and groans and stretches, but he just won't wake up. I'm worried. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone have any advice?

My advice? Check his temp, if he's fine, enjoy the quiet time and take a bubble bath, he's just catching up on some z's, at that age, my DS was doing that a couple times a week. Be prepared though, he's gonna be hungry as all get out when he finally does wake up.

He is STTN! Don't wake him up! Chances are once you start doing something else, he'll wake up haha. LO is on her 7th hour right now (she STTN) but even though this has been happening for weeks, my body hasn't adjusted and I still have to pump, ughhhhh. Enjoy the quiet time!

Seriously - the kid always seems to know when I'm sitting down to eat.

Haha same here! He can be dead asleep and as soon as I sit down with my lunch/dinner he starts screaming.

My girl is 7 weeks too and just started 7+ hour stretchs at night and will do the same grunts and noises.  I just let her keep going unless her eyes open or she starts to cry.

This is my LO!! If I am just sitting around doing nothing he will sleep like the dead. God forbid I grab a bite to eat he is up and wanting to be fed. It can be anything from me wanting to grab a snack from the pantry to me actually cooking lunch. Doesn't matter what I am eating he just seems to know when I want to eat. 

OP - I agree with everyone else. If he is resting comfortably and isn't running a fever go relax. DS has had a few nights like this but when he woke up he was crazy hungry! I went to kiss him and he lunged for my face like a Zombie lol.

Lol- DS does that too. DH calls it Hungry Kisses.

Wanted to add: You LO is SO FRIGGIN' CUTE!!! Very sweet face.
