Are you peeking at your registry?

I'm guilty of doing this. I did it for our wedding, and I can't not do it now, especially since invites went out. Part of me thinks I should stop and let it all be a surprise, but the other part of me says it doesn't matter, because we don't know who bought what.

What do you think? Stop or keep looking?

Haha, I went to change some things on our registry today and noticed a few of our higher-$ items were fulfilled!!  Someone bought our carseat, baby monitors and jogger stroller.  I am STOKED, especially since invites haven't gone out yet and won't be for about a month.  I suspect the in-laws.  YAY!! 

And I vote keep looking

OMG, I just logged on to thebump to write about the same thing!!!!!  I check it like 100 times a day!!!  I am obsessed and was with the wedding registry too.  I get so excited when I see that items have been "fullfilled."   My shower is a surprise, but I guess I'll be able to figure out around when it will be so that part of me wants to stop, but I can't!!!

I keep going on to make updates and it's hard to avoid seeing what has been purchased.

I'm not registered yet...but when I do register, I will be "stalking".  I'm registering at BRU and BBB and will probably put duplicates on and remove them as things are purchased.

I got an e-mail from myregistry.com today that someone had purchased my bedding set. I know who it was,and already knew she was getting it, but it is still fun to see it fulfilled. I say keep looking. Enjoy!

I check it all the time. I vote keep peeking. Like you said, you can't tell who bought what, so there's still some surprise!

I do but only because I'm constantly adding, removing and adjusting things.  No one has purchased anything yet, but very few people even know about it so I'm not surprised.  I will totally stalk it once shower invites go out though!

Stalk away sister! I was obsessed with stalking my wedding registry and I'm sure I will be the same with this one. I've only been registered a week and have checked a couple of times, but once was to add something. My shower date is not a surprise so I may back off a bit as it gets closer.

Absolutely peeking. I worry that we won't be able to get baby everything he needs (more like all the stuff I want to have for a baby). My thoughts are that everytime I see that someone bought something, it makes me realize how blessed we are. It reduces worry for me. Keep looking. Although I'm trying to cut back lol.

Plus it's not like you'll be surprised at the shower. You registered for the stuff!

I looked once or twice, but since shower invites with registry info haven't gone out yet nothing has been purchased.  So peeking isn't that exciting, haha.

I check all 3 of mine daily.  I check the target and BRU ones so I can update the amazon one which is a combo of the 2.

yes, but I double -registered for some things at both amazon and bru, so I want to remove it from one when it is bought from another. That and we're still wrapping up our registry anyways.
