Jacob has the Babi Italia Lifestyle Crib from BRU and it can be converted to a full size bed. However the only place I have found that has the conversion kit (which is just wooden slats) is BRU to the tune of $160...that is just insane to me. Does anyone know if you have to use specific kits to convert a bed or if you can use some other type of kit or bed frame. I just hate to spend that type of money on something like that and then buy mattresses as well.

Re: Anyone have a convertible crib?
We have the same cribs and we bought the kits at the same time, because we had a 15% coupon plus we got the twin discount.
It is very expensive, we dropp a little over 1k for the cribs with the kits.
