AW: he laughed!

Today, while I was giving my son a bath, he laughed for the first time!  He seemed to be enjoying it; he was squirming around and kicking more than usual.  I think he'd been close to laughing for a couple of days, but this was unmistakable.  Of course DH was in the kitchen and didn't hear it.  He came running into the bathroom when I called him, but I guess we only got one laugh for that bath.  I had to tell myself firmly that I am not allowed to keep my son in the tub until he turns into a little raisin in the hope that he'll do it again.  I predict a marked increase in the number of baths at our house.

 I'm so excited!

The first time DS laughed he was asleep and dreaming I guess, he was taking a nap in his bouncy seat and all of a sudden he smiled and cracked up laughing, everyone got to hear it that was over at my place, we were having a movie night so my sister was over too and everyone was in the living room. I remember it was January 19th at 8:47 pm (I wrote it down in his baby book as soon as I could find a pen)
